Python 3.2.1

Python 3.2.1 Release, Download Now | The Python developers have released Python 3.2.1, a bugfix release for February's Python 3.2 with no new functionality. It fixes more than 120 bugs and regressions in the most recent release of the widely used dynamic scripting language, including a fix for a urllib and urllib2 medium severity security issue (CVE-2011-1521) which had been corrected in older versions of Python in recent months.

The extensive changes include fixes such as avoiding daemon threads running and crashing the interpreter when it was shutting down and other race conditions, correctly stripping newlines when using input() on Windows, and os.stat() working with symbolic links on Windows. The full list of changes is available in the NEWS file.

Python 3.2.1 is available to download as a compressed source tar ball, as Windows 32-bit and 64-bit MSI installers and as Mac OS X 32-bit x86 and PPC or 64-bit/32-bit x86 installers. The online documentation has also been updated and the developers ask that any bugs be reported to bugs.python.org. Python is released under the GPL-compatible Python Licence.
